In Friday's non-league outing, the Cornerstone Christian School Cougars (Bellevue, NE) basketball squad edged the visiting Whiting Warriors (Whiting, IA), by a margin of 38-31.

The Cougars (3-5) will now prepare for their outing against Parkview Christian (Lincoln, NE). The Patriots go into the non-league outing with a 8-2 record. In their last outing, Parkview Christian held off Omaha Nation (Macy, NE), 62-19, in a non-league outing.

The Warriors now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to College View Academy for a non-league outing on Monday, January 10. Whiting will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 41-36 non-league loss to East Butler (Brainard, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 4-5.
