The Perry Panthers (Perry, GA) basketball felled the host Howard Huskies (Macon, GA), 53-37 in Friday's league test.
The Panthers (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Peach County (Fort Valley, GA). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 8-3 record. In their last test, Peach County thwarted Upson-Lee (Thomaston, GA), 52-38, in a league test.
The Huskies now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they travel to Mary Persons for a non-league test on Saturday, January 8. Howard will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 53-41 league win over Jackson (Jackson, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-6.
