The Sheldon Orabs (Sheldon, IA) basketball nipped the visiting Okoboji Pioneers (Milford, IA), 60-53 in Friday's league test.
The Orabs (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn (Hartley, IA). The Hawks go into the Siouxland test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn was tipped by Harris-Lake Park (Lake Park, IA), 40-36, in a non-league test.
The Pioneers now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they host George-Little Rock for a Siouxland test on Tuesday, January 11. Okoboji will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 48-20 league loss to West Lyon (Inwood, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-9.
