Cold Springs Eagles (Bremen, AL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Falkville Blue Devils (Falkville, AL), 31-28 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Cold Springs upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Holly Pond (Holly Pond, AL) to play the Broncos in a non-league bout on Friday, January 14. The Broncos come into the bout with a record of 0-4.

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Addison Bulldogs (Addison, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 11. Falkville will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record.
