Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC), 70-18 in a league bout.

With the win, Pinecrest upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Patriots host Southern Lee (Sanford, NC) to clash with the Cavaliers in a bout on Friday, January 7. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Southern Lee lost 69-59 in their recent league bout against Richmond (Rockingham, NC)

Next up, the Yellow Jackets clash with the Richmond Raiders (Rockingham, NC) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 11. Lee County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
