Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Alabama School for the Deaf Silent Warriors (Talladega, AL) and the host Arkansas School for the Deaf Leopards (Little Rock, AR), saw Alabama School for the Deaf's basketball squad wallop Arkansas School for the Deaf by a tally of 53-20.

With the victory, Alabama School for the Deaf improves its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Silent Warriors travel to Winterboro (Alpine, AL) to confront the Bulldogs in a 1A Area 8 challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 6-5. Winterboro won 64-60 in their recent league challenge against Faith Christian (Anniston, AL)

Next up, the Leopards confront the Illinois School for the Deaf Tigers (Jacksonville, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Arkansas School for the Deaf will attempt to improve on its 0-14 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 55-23 non-league loss to Alabama School for the Deaf (Talladega, AL).
