The Atascocita Eagles (Humble, TX) basketball nipped the visiting King Panthers (Houston, TX), 63-58 in Saturday's league test.

The Eagles (15-7) will now prepare for their test against North Shore (Houston, TX). The Mustangs go into the 6A Region III District 21 test with a 10-11 record. In their last test, North Shore got by Humble (Humble, TX), 74-41, in a league test.

The Panthers now own a 4-14 record. They play next when they travel to Summer Creek for a 6A Region III District 21 test on Wednesday, January 11. King will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 64-45 league loss to Beaumont United (Beaumont, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 18-5.
