The Bellevue Redmen (Bellevue, OH) basketball nipped the host Columbian Tornadoes (Tiffin, OH), 54-51 in Saturday's league test.

The Redmen (8-2) will now prepare for their test against Sandusky (Sandusky, OH). The Blue Streaks go into the Sandusky Bay - Lake test with a 9-1 record. In their last test, Sandusky held off Midview (Grafton, OH), 61-57, in a non-league bout.

Next up, the Tornadoes play the Norwalk Truckers (Norwalk, OH) in a Sandusky Bay - Lake bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Columbian will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record. The Truckers go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 60-47 non-league win over Port Clinton (Port Clinton, OH).
