The Benet Academy Redwings (Lisle, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Marist RedHawks (Chicago, IL), 57-47 in Saturday's league test.
The Redwings (18-1) will now prepare for their test against Joliet Catholic (Joliet, IL). The Hilltoppers go into the East Suburban Catholic test with a 7-7 record.
The RedHawks now own a 14-4 record. They play next when they host King for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 10. Marist will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 44-33 non-league win over Aurora Central Catholic (Aurora, IL). The Jaguars record now stands at 9-7.
