Rice Memorial Green Knights (South Burlington, VT) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Burr & Burton Bulldogs (Manchester, VT), 76-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Rice Memorial upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Green Knights host Burlington (Burlington, VT) to play the Seahorses in a Metro bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Seahorses come into the bout with a record of 3-4. Burlington lost 45-39 in their recent league bout against Mt. Mansfield (Jericho, VT)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Fair Haven Slaters (Fair Haven, VT) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Burr & Burton will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record.
