New Mexico High School Basketball - Capital trounces Espanola Valley

The Capital Jaguars (Santa Fe, NM) basketball crushed the visiting Espanola Valley Sundevils (Espanola, NM), 58-29 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Jaguars (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Valencia (Los Lunas, NM). The Jaguars go into the non-league test with a 6-10 record. In their last test, Valencia was trounced by Valley (Albuquerque, NM), 52-41, in a non-league test.
The Sundevils now own a 2-13 record. They play next when they travel to Kirtland Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 10. Espanola Valley will encounter a Broncos squad coming off a 62-25 non-league win over Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM). The Broncos record now stands at 8-6.
