Los Lunas Tigers (Los Lunas, NM) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Carlsbad Cavemen (Carlsbad, NM), 47-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Los Lunas upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 15-0. Volcano Vista won 69-66 in their recent non-league bout against Sandia (Albuquerque, NM)

Next up, the Cavemen clash with the Lovington Wildcats (Lovington, NM) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Carlsbad will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 55-33 non-league loss to Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM).
