Indiana High School Basketball - Carmel thwarts Westfield

The Carmel Greyhounds (Carmel, IN) basketball knocked off the visiting Westfield Shamrocks (Westfield, IN), 49-38 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Greyhounds (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Cathedral (Indianapolis, IN). The Fighting Irish go into the non-league test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, Cathedral notched a victory over Floyd Central (Floyds Knobs, IN), 77-63, in a non-league test.

The Shamrocks now own a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hamilton Southeastern for a Hoosier Crossroads test on Friday, January 13. Westfield will encounter a Royals squad coming off a 65-39 non-league loss to Warren Central (Indianapolis, IN). The Royals record now stands at 4-8.
