The Carrollton Warriors basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Claymont Mustangs to 46 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Warriors now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Minerva for a Eastern Buckeye contest on Tuesday, January 10. Carrollton will battle a Lions team coming off a 53-48 league loss to Alliance (Alliance, OH). The Lions record now stands at 4-7.

The Mustangs (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Newcomerstown (Newcomerstown, OH). The Trojans enter the Inter-Valley contest with a 0-13 record. In their last contest, Newcomerstown was nudged by Beallsville (Beallsville, OH), 45-30, in a non-league contest.
