The Walnut Ridge Bobcats (Walnut Ridge, AR) basketball felled the visiting Cave City Cavemen (Cave City, AR), 61-47 in Saturday's league test.
The Bobcats (5-7) will now prepare for their test against Piggott (Piggott, AR). The Mohawks go into the 3A Region 3 test with a 6-8 record. In their last test, Piggott was beaten by Rivercrest (Wilson, AR), 70-65, in a league test.
The Cavemen now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they host Hoxie for a 3A Region 2 test on Tuesday, January 10. Cave City will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 62-37 league loss to Melbourne (Melbourne, AR). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-7.
