Genesis Prep Academy Jaguars (Post Falls, ID) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Clark Fork Wampus Cats (Clark Fork, ID), 45-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Genesis Prep Academy upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Jaguars host Wallace (Wallace, ID) to play the Miners in a 1A Scenic Idaho bout on Saturday, January 14. The Miners go into the bout with a record of 2-4.

Next up, the Wampus Cats play the Non Varsity Opponent (, ) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Clark Fork will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record.
