Lakeside Eagles (Nine Mile Falls, WA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Colville Crimson Hawks (Colville, WA), 71-58 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lakeside upgrades its record to 3-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Colfax (Colfax, WA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, January 9. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 11-1. Colfax won 57-55 in their recent league bout against Northwest Christian School (Colbert, WA)

Next up, the Crimson Hawks play the Newport Grizzlies (Newport, WA) in a 1A Northeast bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Colville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Grizzlies come into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 88-60 league loss to Freeman (Rockford, WA).
