The Covenant Classical Cavaliers (Fort Worth, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Trinity Chargers (Midland, TX), 44-34 in Saturday's league test.

The Cavaliers (9-10) will now prepare for their test against Temple Christian (Fort Worth, TX). The Eagles go into the TAPPS 3A District 1 test with a 6-8 record. In their last test, Temple Christian went down by Lubbock Christian (Lubbock, TX), 41-16, in a league test.

The Chargers now own a 3-18 record. They play next when they travel to Lubbock Christian for a TAPPS 3A District 1 test on Tuesday, January 10. Trinity will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 41-16 league win over Temple Christian (Fort Worth, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 17-2.
