Texas High School Basketball - Cypress Ridge overwhelmed by Stratford

The Stratford Spartans basketball team scored 81 points and restricted the host Cypress Ridge Rams to 55 in the Spartans league victory on Saturday.
The Spartans now sport a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Memorial for a 6A Region III District 17 contest on Wednesday, January 11. Stratford will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 33-29 league win over Jersey Village (Houston, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 13-10.
The Rams (4-16) will now prepare for their contest against Cy-Fair (Cypress, TX). The Bobcats come into the 6A Region III District 17 contest with a 8-12 record. In their last contest, Cy-Fair triumphed over Spring Woods (Houston, TX), 43-33, in a league contest.
