The Deer Trail Eagles basketball team (Deer Trail, CO), was overwhelmed 44-11 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Hanover Hornets (Colorado Springs, CO)
The Hornets now possess a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bethune for a non-league battle on Friday, January 13. Hanover will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 43-22 league loss to Lone Star (Otis, CO). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-4.
The Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Idalia (Idalia, CO). The Wolves come into the non-league battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Idalia trounced Hi-Plains (Seibert, CO), 61-54, in a league battle.
