Texas High School Basketball - Galena Park ripped by Waltrip

The Waltrip Rams basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Galena Park Yellowjackets to 39 in the Rams league triumph on Saturday.
The Rams now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sharpstown for a 5A Region III District 19 contest on Wednesday, January 11. Waltrip will meet a Apollos team coming off a 67-53 league win over Milby (Houston, TX). The Apollos record now stands at 8-9.
The Yellowjackets (3-16) will now prepare for their contest against Northside (Houston, TX). The Panthers enter the 5A Region III District 19 contest with a 0-14 record. In their last contest, Northside was routed by Sterling (Houston, TX), 104-26, in a league contest.
