Gordonsville Tigers (Gordonsville, TN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Macon County Tigers (Lafayette, TN), 58-32 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Gordonsville upgrades its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Pickett County (Byrdstown, TN) to play the Bobcats in a 1A District 7 bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Bobcats come into the bout with a record of 9-4.

Next up, the Tigers play the Stone Memorial Panthers (Crossville, TN) in a 3A District 7 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Macon County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record.
