Head-Royce Jayhawks (Oakland, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Marin Academy Wildcats (San Rafael, CA), 55-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Head-Royce upgrades its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Jayhawks travel to College Prep (Oakland, CA) to play the Cougars in a Bay Counties - East bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 5-7.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Lick-Wilmerding Tigers (San Francisco, CA) in a Bay Counties - West bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Marin Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record.
