The Koyuk Malimiut Malemutes (Koyuk, AK) basketball nipped the visiting James C Isabell Aklaqs (Teller, AK), 74-70 in Saturday's league test.
The Malemutes (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Anthony Andrews (St. Michael, AK). The Storm go into the 1A Bering Sea test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Anthony Andrews got by James C Isabell (Teller, AK), 84-58, in a league test.
The Aklaqs now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Brevig Mission for a 1A Bering Sea test on Friday, February 3.
