The Jefferson Dragons (Jefferson, GA) basketball knocked off the host Rabun County Wildcats (Tiger, GA), 56-47 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Dragons (6-9) will now prepare for their test against Heritage (Conyers, GA). The Patriots go into the AAAAA Region 8 test with a 11-5 record. In their last test, Heritage notched a victory over Clarke Central (Athens, GA), 64-56, in a league test.

The Wildcats now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Commerce for a A D1 Region 8 test on Tuesday, January 10. Rabun County will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 61-42 non-league loss to Lincoln County (Lincolnton, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 6-10.
