The Munising Baptist Bobcats basketball team scored 46 points and held the host Mackinac Island Lakers to 43 in the Bobcats league triumph on Saturday.
The Bobcats now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bay Mills Ojibwe Charter for a Freelance contest on Tuesday, January 10. Munising Baptist will battle a team coming off a 91-67 non-league loss to North Michigan Christian Academy (Burt Lake, MI). The record now stands at 0-3.
The Lakers (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against North Michigan Christian Academy (Burt Lake, MI). The Comets enter the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, North Michigan Christian Academy was nudged by Mackinaw City (Mackinaw City, MI), 72-33, in a league contest.
