The Winslow Black Raiders (Winslow, ME) basketball nipped the visiting Mount Desert Island Trojans (Mount Desert, ME), 63-56 in Saturday's league test.
The Black Raiders (6-0) will now prepare for their test against Belfast (Belfast, ME). The Lions go into the B North test with a 0-8 record. In their last test, Belfast was tipped by Bucksport (Bucksport, ME), 63-45, in a league test.
The Trojans now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Orono for a B North test on Tuesday, January 10. Mount Desert Island will encounter a Riots squad coming off a 69-39 league win over Maine Central Institute (Pittsfield, ME). The Riots record now stands at 8-1.
