North Yarmouth Academy Panthers (Yarmouth, ME) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Seacoast Christian Guardians (South Berwick, ME), 46-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Yarmouth Academy upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Panthers host Dirigo (Dixfield, ME) to play the Cougars in a C South bout on Saturday, January 28. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 10-0.

Next up, the Guardians play the Waynflete Flyers (Portland, ME) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Seacoast Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Flyers go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 41-39 league win over Sacopee Valley (Cornish, ME).
