California High School Basketball - Santa Rosa ripped by Rancho Cotate

The Rancho Cotate Cougars basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Santa Rosa Panthers to 25 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cougars now sport a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Healdsburg for a North Bay - Redwood contest on Tuesday, January 10. Rancho Cotate will meet a Greyhounds team coming off a 49-48 non-league win over Maria Carrillo (Santa Rosa, CA). The Greyhounds record now stands at 11-6.

The Panthers (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Cardinal Newman (Santa Rosa, CA). The Cardinals enter the North Bay - Oak contest with a 17-0 record. In their last contest, Cardinal Newman triumphed over Ukiah (Ukiah, CA), 49-38, in a non-league contest.
