Arkansas High School Basketball - Rogers Heritage can't hold off Southside

The Southside Southerners basketball team scored 38 points and held the visiting Rogers Heritage War Eagles to 37 in the Southerners league triumph on Saturday.
The Southerners now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westside for a 4A Region 3 contest on Monday, January 9. Southside will battle a Warriors team coming off a 69-41 league win over Wynne (Wynne, AR). The Warriors record now stands at 6-5.
The War Eagles (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Bentonville West (Centerton, AR). The Wolverines enter the 6A West contest with a 15-1 record. In their last contest, Bentonville West nudged Springdale (Springdale, AR), 65-62, in a league contest.
