Nebraska High School Basketball - Wauneta-Palisade trounced by Southwest

The Southwest Roughriders routed the visiting Wauneta-Palisade Broncos basketball team by a final score of 48-24 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Roughriders face the Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] (Eustis, NE) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 10. Southwest will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record. The enter the game with a 2-6 record after their 79-42 non-league loss to Maywood/Hayes Center (Maywood, NE).

With the defeat, Wauneta-Palisade moves to 2-9 on the year. The Broncos travel to Perkins County (Grant, NE) to face the Plainsmen in a non-league game on Friday, January 13. The Plainsmen enter the game with a record of 4-5.
