The Starr's Mill Panthers (Fayetteville, GA) basketball nipped the visiting Trinity Christian Lions (Sharpsburg, GA), 39-37 in Saturday's league test.

The Panthers (3-10) will now prepare for their test against Riverdale (Riverdale, GA). The Raiders go into the AAAA Region 4 test with a 9-5 record. In their last test, Riverdale was tipped by Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA), 67-59, in a league test.

The Lions now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they host North Clayton for a AAAA Region 4 test on Tuesday, January 10. Trinity Christian will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 55-45 league win over Troup County (LaGrange, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-13.
