Idaho High School Basketball - Aberdeen trounced by West Side

The West Side Pirates routed the visiting Aberdeen Tigers basketball team by a final score of 48-16 in Saturday's league game.

In their next game, the Pirates face the Declo Hornets (Declo, ID) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, January 11. West Side will attempt to move on its 10-2 season record. The Hornets enter the game with a 7-8 record after their 34-29 non-league loss to Gooding (Gooding, ID).

The Tigers (2-12) will now prepare for their battle against Bear Lake (Montpelier, ID). The Bears come into the 2A South East Idaho battle with a 1-11 record. In their last battle, Bear Lake was overwhelmed by Soda Springs (Soda Springs, ID), 53-25, in a league battle.
