St. Bernard's Crusaders (Eureka, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Arcata Tigers (Arcata, CA), 61-41 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, St. Bernard's upgrades its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Hoopa Valley (Hoopa, CA) to play the Warriors in a Humboldt-Del Norte - Little 5 bout on Thursday, January 12. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 6-8.
Next up, the Tigers play the McKinleyville Panthers (McKinleyville, CA) in a Humboldt-Del Norte - Big 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Arcata will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 12-4 record after their 54-39 non-league win over Ferndale (Ferndale, CA).
