In Saturday's league match, the visiting Cissna Park Timberwolves basketball team scored a tight 34-30 triumph over the Armstrong Trojans.
In their next game, the Timberwolves meet the Salt Fork Storm (Sidell, IL) in a Vermilion Valley match, on Monday, January 9. Cissna Park will attempt to better on its 16-3 season record. The Storm enter the match with a 9-7 record after their 49-38 non-league loss to Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] (Kansas, IL).
