The Bucksport Golden Bucks basketball team (Bucksport, ME), was routed 51-30 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Belfast Lions (Belfast, ME)
The Lions now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Winslow for a B North battle on Tuesday, January 10. Belfast will battle a Black Raiders team coming off a 71-28 league loss to Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert, ME). The Black Raiders record now stands at 0-7.
The Golden Bucks (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against Washington Academy (East Machias, ME). The Raiders come into the B North battle with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Washington Academy was trounced by Presque Isle (Presque Isle, ME), 63-31, in a league test.
