In Saturday's league match, the host Minot Magicians basketball team scored a tight 59-57 triumph over the Bismarck Demons.
In their next game, the Magicians meet the Devils Lake Firebirds (Devils Lake, ND) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 14. Minot will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Firebirds enter the match with a 3-5 record after their 72-61 league win over Grand Forks Central (Grand Forks, ND).
