The Floyd County Buffaloes basketball team (Floyd, VA), dropped 55-47 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA)

The Knights now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pulaski County for a River Ridge battle on Tuesday, January 10. Cave Spring will battle a Cougars team coming off a 67-43 league win over Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 10-3.

The Buffaloes (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Radford (Radford, VA). The Bobcats come into the Three Rivers battle with a 3-8 record. In their last battle, Radford dropped by Carroll County (Hillsville, VA), 62-10, in a league battle.
