In Saturday's non-league outing, the Centerville Big Reds/Redettes (Centerville, IA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Moravia Mohawks (Moravia, IA), by a count of 63-13.

The Big Reds/Redettes (5-5) will now prepare for their outing against Davis County (Bloomfield, IA). The Mustangs go into the South Central outing with a 5-7 record. In their last outing, Davis County smashed Central Decatur (Leon, IA), 63-42, in a non-league outing.

The Mohawks now hold a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Moulton-Udell for a Bluegrass outing on Tuesday, January 10. Moravia will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 60-24 league loss to Mormon Trail (Garden Grove, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-11.
