The Chattahoochee County Panthers (Cusseta, GA) basketball knocked off the visiting Marion County Eagles (Buena Vista, GA), 61-50 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Panthers (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Shaw (Columbus, GA). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 10-6 record. In their last test, Shaw notched a victory over Bainbridge (Bainbridge, GA), 54-46, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they host Webster County for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 10. Marion County will encounter a squad coming off a 75-10 league loss to Taylor County (Butler, GA). The record now stands at 0-7.
