The Tigers now possess a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Stanly for a 1A/2A Conference 35 battle on Tuesday, January 10. Mount Pleasant will confront a Comets team coming off a 45-44 league win over Albemarle (Albemarle, NC). The Comets record now stands at 13-1.

The Spiders (2-11) will now prepare for their battle against Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Trojans come into the 3A Conference 48 battle with a 7-5 record. In their last battle, Northwest Cabarrus beat Carson (China Grove, NC), 56-16, in a league battle.
