The Franklin County Eagles basketball team (Rocky Mount, VA), was nudged 33-29 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Cosby Titans (Midlothian, VA)
The Titans now possess a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Powhatan for a Dominion battle on Tuesday, January 10. Cosby will battle a Indians team coming off a 60-18 league loss to L.C. Bird (Chesterfield, VA). The Indians record now stands at 6-5.
The Eagles (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Fleming (Roanoke, VA). The Colonels come into the Blue Ridge battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Fleming edged Northside (Roanoke, VA), 75-24, in a league battle.
