Crawford County Eagles (Roberta, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Twiggs County Cobras (Jeffersonville, GA), 63-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Crawford County upgrades its record to 8-9 on the season. The Eagles travel to Macon County (Montezuma, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Macon County won 60-34 in their recent league bout against Central (Talbotton, GA)

Next up, the Cobras play the Hancock Central Bulldogs (Sparta, GA) in a A D2 Region 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Twiggs County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 0-9 record after their 55-17 league loss to Wilkinson County (Irwinton, GA).
