Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Cumberland County Panthers (Burkesville, KY) and the host Glasgow Scotties (Glasgow, KY), saw Cumberland County's basketball squad overcome Glasgow by a tally of 63-54.

With the victory, Cumberland County improves its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Clinton County (Albany, KY) to play the Bulldogs in a District 16 challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 5-8.

Next up, the Scotties play the Barren County Trojans (Glasgow, KY) in a District 15 challenge, on Friday, January 13. Glasgow will attempt to improve on its 8-3 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 11-2 record after their 45-34 non-league win over Monroe County (Tompkinsville, KY).
