Dufur Rangers (Dufur, OR) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lyle Cougars (Lyle, WA), 52-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Dufur upgrades its record to 2-7 on the season. The Rangers travel to Glenwood (Glenwood, WA) to clash with the Eagles in a 1A Big Sky outing on Tuesday, January 10. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 1-0. Glenwood won 44-27 in their recent league outing against Horizon Christian (Hood River, OR)

The Cougars now hold a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Horizon Christian for a 1A Big Sky contest on Tuesday, January 10. Lyle will battle a team coming off a 58-33 league loss to South Wasco County (Maupin, OR). The record now stands at 1-9.
