In Saturday's non-league outing, the East Paulding Raiders (Dallas, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Woodland Wildcats (Cartersville, GA), by a count of 51-21.
The Raiders (5-9) will now prepare for their outing against Alexander (Douglasville, GA). The Cougars go into the AAAAAA Region 5 outing with a 8-6 record. In their last outing, Alexander smashed South Cobb (Austell, GA), 50-3, in a non-league outing.
The Wildcats now hold a 2-12 record. They play next when they host Hiram for a AAAAA Region 7 outing on Tuesday, January 10. Woodland will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 55-52 non-league win over Harrison (Kennesaw, GA). The Hornets record now stands at 12-2.
