In Saturday's non-league outing, the Central Blue Devils (Newark, NJ) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting East Side Red Raiders (Newark, NJ), by a margin of 59-21.
The Blue Devils (5-4) will now prepare for their outing against Nutley (Nutley, NJ). The Maroon Raiders go into the non-league outing with a 2-4 record. In their last outing, Nutley was trounced by Glen Ridge (Glen Ridge, NJ), 47-28, in a non-league outing.
The Red Raiders now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Verona for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 10. East Side will clash with a Hillbillies squad coming off a 37-32 non-league win over Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NJ). The Hillbillies record now stands at 5-2.
