Georgia High School Basketball - Edmund Burke Academy topples Glascock County

January 7, 2023: Waynesboro, GA 30830

In Saturday's non-league outing, the Edmund Burke Academy Spartans (Waynesboro, GA) basketball squad beat the visiting Glascock County Panthers (Gibson, GA), by a margin of 55-35.

The Spartans (7-7) will now prepare for their outing against David Emanuel Academy (Stillmore, GA). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 0-5 record.

The Panthers now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Johnson County for a A D2 Region 5 outing on Tuesday, January 10. Glascock County will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 55-39 non-league loss to East Laurens (East Dublin, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 2-4.
