The Fruitland Grizzlies (Fruitland, ID) basketball crushed the host Payette Pirates (Payette, ID), 66-20 in Saturday's league test.
The Grizzlies (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Parma (Parma, ID). The Panthers go into the 3A Snake River Valley test with a 13-2 record. In their last test, Parma walloped Homedale (Homedale, ID), 46-22, in a league test.
The Pirates now own a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to McCall-Donnelly for a 3A Snake River Valley test on Tuesday, January 10. Payette will encounter a Vandals squad coming off a 45-34 league loss to Weiser (Weiser, ID). The Vandals record now stands at 6-7.
