The Cardinals (2-3) will now prepare for their outing against Aspen (Aspen, CO). The Skiers go into the 3A Western Slope outing with a 0-8 record. In their last outing, Aspen was trounced by Steamboat Springs (Steamboat Springs, CO), 36-11, in a non-league outing.

The Cowboys now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they host North Fork for a 3A Western Slope outing on Friday, January 13. Gunnison will clash with a Miners squad coming off a 38-25 non-league win over Rangely (Rangely, CO). The Miners record now stands at 3-2.
